SPAYLATER BY SHOPEE FAQ

SPayLater offers users a convenient financial solution, enabling them to enjoy payment flexibility through a user-friendly digital platform. With SPayLater, users can make immediate purchases while having the option to defer payment.

This service offers different payment plans, allowing users to spread their payments over periods ranging from one to twelve months.

Processing fees depend on your preferred payment plan

The 12-month, 18-month and 24-month instalment payment plan options are only available to eligible users only.

To utilize SPayLater for payment on Shopee, follow these steps after activating it:

Activating SPayLater

  1. Go to the Me tab in the Shopee App.
  2. Click on "Activate Now."
  3. Enter the One-Time Password sent to your registered mobile number.
  4. Continue filling in your MyKad details and required information.
  5. Initiate Facial Verification and begin the SPayLater activation process.

Paying with SPayLater:

  1. During checkout, select SPayLater as your payment option.
  2. Confirm your choice and proceed to place your order.
  3. Fill in your ShopeePay PIN number.
  4. Complete your payment by clicking "CONTINUE."

In the event of a new SPayLater activation, your application will go through a review process. Once the review is completed and approved within two (2) working days (Excluding Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holidays), you may continue to enjoy making purchases using your SPayLater limit. You may refer to the steps below to check your SPaylater account updates:

  1. Login to the Shopee app
  2. Go to the “Me” page
  3. Click on the icon “SPayLater
  4. On the top of the page, you will see a message: “Sorry, your SPayLater is locked due to security issues. We are reviewing your updated information again

Yes, you are still entitled to Shopee Coins when you pay using SPayLater. Your Shopee Coins entitlement will be credited to your account once you acknowledged that you have received your order. Please refer to our Terms of Service on the terms related to Shopee Coins.

You can view your transaction history by clicking "Latest Transactions" in the SPayLater homepage that is accesible via the "Me" tab. 

You will now be able to view your latest transactions made via SPayLater.

The transaction details can be further viewed by selecting any single transaction line. 

This may be due to a technical glitch in the system that has affected your SPayLater bill repayment. If the transaction is unsuccessful, the repayment amount will be reversed back to your bank account or your ShopeePay wallet in 7–14 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Yes, you can have multiple PayLater transactions as long as it is within your PayLater offered amount.

You may also keep track of your PayLater Amount and transactions in the PayLater homescreen.

Yes, you can still pay for your purchases on Shopee with the available SPayLater limit and pay for the remaining balance with other payment methods such as ShopeePay, Online Banking, Credit/Debit Card and Cash Payment at Convenience stores. 

No activation is required for this combined payment, this will be available when your SPayLater limit is not enough to purchase on the Shopee app.

Payment information is processed securely by Shopee. No card details are transferred to or held by STEALPLUG EST 2017. All transactions take place via connections secured with the latest industry standard security protocols.
