Here’s how you can get started with PayLater Instalments: 

1.  Ensure that you’ve activated PayLater on your Grab app. Shop at any of our PayLater merchant sites, or in-person at our PayLater partner merchants’ stores.
2. Select Grab at checkout.
3. Select the Pay with Instalments option.
4. Complete the transaction by paying the first ¼ of your bill. 

You can now enjoy your new purchase! Simply look out for an email and push notification of any upcoming bill notifications so that you’ll be aware of the automatic deductions that will be made to complete your payments.

Please note that you’ll also have the option to pay off multiple instalments at once for upcoming bills, which will free up your available limit.

Grab users who are eligible for PayLater should be

1. You’ve been an existing Grab user for at least 6 months
2. You’re aged 21 years or over
3. Your account has been fully verified
4. You’re a Platinum, Gold, or Silver GrabRewards tier member
5. Your Grab app has been updated to the latest version.

If you’re eligible for PayLater, you’ll be able to activate it in-app, or simply launch your Grab app, tap on Payments, tap on Enjoy Now and Pay Later under Explore GrabPay.

If you don’t see the PayLater option, we’re unfortunately unable to offer this service to you just yet. All approvals are subject to our internal review.

PayLater is a free service offered by retailers to you – there are no upfront fees charged or any interest accrued.

The only fee that may be incurred is admin fee to reactivate your suspended account for each missed payment. Your PayLater account may be suspended if you have overdue PayLater bill and you do not make any payments after being notified by us.

No, your PayLater activity will not affect your external credit score.

Yes, you can have multiple PayLater transactions as long as it is within your PayLater offered amount.

You may also keep track of your PayLater Amount and transactions in the PayLater homescreen.

This can occur when you have insufficient balance in your GrabPay Wallet and our attempt to automatically top up your GrabPay Wallet resulted in a longer processing time therefore the transaction with the merchant failed.

If this happens, ensure you have sufficient balance in your GrabPay Wallet for the 1st instalment and try to transact with PayLater Instalments again.

Payment information is processed securely by Grab. No card details are transferred to or held by STEALPLUG EST 2017. All transactions take place via connections secured with the latest industry standard security protocols.
