The Off-White brand was officially born in 2013, by Virgil Abloh and the cooperation with New Guard Group from Italy. Development based on predecessor Pyrex Vision, first launched in 2012.

Before launching the Off-White brand, Virgil Abloh used to be an effective arm of rapper Kanye West as a consultant, designing products for Yeezus tour. In addition, Virgil is also known as a talented DJ under the name Flat White.
